Tri
State Selected As Us 95 Row Consultant
The Nevada Department of Transportation, Right-of-Way
Division, has selected Tri State Surveying to
perform the right-of-way engineering on the U.S. 95
Widening Project in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project
limits are from Interstate 15 to Washington Avenue
and include five different design projects.

Tri State Surveying joined other local businesses
to sponsor this year's Joe Martini Annual Make-A-Wish
Golf Tournament. Over $15,000 was raised from the
event for two candidates in the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Tri State also had two teams that played in the
tournament. Pictured are: (l to r) Gary Poland,

Micki
Jefferson & Wesco Off-Road Race Team Take 2nd Place
 
Micki
Jefferson, Vice President of Tri State Surveying
and member of the Wesco Off-Road Race Team recently
placed 2nd in the 9-Car Division at the Casino West
250 in Yerington, Nevada. Micki was co-driver with
Bill Avery for the first 60+ mile lap, followed by
Jason Avery and Tom Brown, who took turns driving
the 2nd and 3rd laps. Jason Avery won $100 for the
team for fastest lap in class. Team Crew Chief Maureen
Avery accepted the 2nd Place Plaque for the Team which
was the best finish the Team has ever had. Congratulations
to everyone on the Wesco Off-Road Race Team!

Tri State Surveying was recently selected by
the Washoe County Airport Authority to serve
as the consultant for the Reno / Tahoe International
Airport National Geodetic Survey Pilot Program Projet.
The project consists of establishment of precise
geodetic control for the airport and precise positioning
of the Airport's on-site and off-site navigational
aides. Tri State Surveying, as a member of the Kennedy/Jenks
Consultants Team was > recently selected by the
Washoe County Airport Authority as Project Management
Consultant for the Reno / Tahoe International Airport
and the Reno / Stead Airport. |
Tri State Surveying Participates In Make A Wish Golf Classic

Tri
State Surveying recently participated
in the Annual Joe Martini Make A Wish Golf
Classic. The Tri State Team did not win, show
or place, but certainly had a great time.
The tournament takes place every year to support
the Make A Wish Foundation. Pictured are the

Conference 2004

Tristate participated in the 2004 CLSA/NALS Conference which took place on April 4-7 at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Highlights from the conference included various speakers, a scholarship
auction, a luncheon address from Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, and a performance
by the comedy hypnotist "Spencer" of Sleepnow Productions. |
