Biographical Information
Mr. Iwamura is an Associate of Tri State Surveying, Ltd. and serves as a Project Manager in our Global Positioning Surveying Services group. Mr. Iwamura possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Survey Engineering from California State University, Fresno. This unique education provided Mr. Iwamura with the foundation in surveying, mapping, mathematical adjustments, photogrammetry and computer systems to function on the cutting edge in the geomatics industry.
 
When Mr. Iwamura joined Tri State Surveying he worked in our Mapping Services group preparing land division maps, Record of Survey plats, engineering design surveys and topographic mapping, land descriptions of real property and ACSM/ALTA Land Title Surveys. Mr. Iwamura then transferred to our Global Positioning Surveying Services group where he directly supervises GPS field crews and office support to complete projects for both public and private clients.
 
Mr. Iwamura's private experience has been mainly providing our engineering clients with design surveys and topographic mapping. Mr. Iwamura's public experience has included city wide horizontal control networks, benchmark systems and utility feature locations utilizing RTK technology. Mr. Iwamura developed the standards to deliverables for engineering design surveys and topographic mapping for Tri State and has been instrumental in facilitating improved deliverable products that meet the needs of our clients.
 
Mr. Iwamura is very athletic and enjoys basketball, bicycling, snow skiing and long distance running. Mr. Iwamura is also active in his community church.
