Information |
| Mr. Avery has
thirty-two years of progressive land surveying experience. His career started
in 1971 as an Engineering Technician for the Sullivan Highway Department in
Barryville, New York where he performed various duties on survey crew and acted
as an inspector and grade checker on one mile of storm drain installation and
later on one mile of road realignment and construction. From 1971 to 1977 Mr.
Avery served in a variety of positions where his job duties included survey
crew member with main responsibility as instrument man on boundary surveys and
construction layout and many secondary roads and subdivisions with experience
in building layout on a large high school project and the building of a new
barracks on the West Point Army Reservation; as a Survey Crew Instrument Man
performing layout of townhouse lots and secondary roads in a large subdivision
near Woodbridge, N.Y.; as a Senior Engineering Technician where his duties
included survey crew chief and instrument man: calculations for boundary surveys,
topographic surveys, and subdivision design and layout and surveying and design of
subdivisions, roads, and septic systems, performing construction inspection for
secondary roads, septic systems, and public water systems. |

| In 1977, Mr. Avery
served as an Engineer’s
Assistant for New York State Electric and Gas Corporation, in Binghamton, New
York where his responsibilities included designing and preparing specifications
along with field inspection of varied civil engineering projects at five coal
fired power plants. Major projects included design and construction supervision
of new access roads at three separate power plants and supervision and design of
a landfill. Later Mr. Avery served as a Project Surveyor where his duties included
all phases of construction layout for a $15 million casino and health spa complex
near Reno, Nevada with water and waste water facilities, parking lots, and six
miles of underground piping. |

| From 1982 through
2002, Mr. Avery served as the Principal of Wesco Surveys, Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He performed surveys for: road reconstruction, pipeline route location and
construction, boundary and topographic surveys; reviewing Title Reports, Record Maps,
Deeds and other title information to prepare right of way maps and legal descriptions
for proposed land acquisitions for the Las Vegas Beltway as well as surveys and
right-of-way mapping for numerous SNWA and LVVWD facilities. |

| Mr.
Avery enjoys riding ATV's, attending Las Vegas Wranglers
hockey games, and visiting Alaska. |
