| City
of Reno Sewer Rating and Condition Inventory
|
The
project consisted of Fast Static
GPS verification of City of Reno
Benchmarks, GPS/RTK location surveys
to establish positions and elevations
for 1,050 sanitary sewer manholes
in the City of Reno for hydraulic
modeling. Each manhole was detailed
and invert elevations measured and
compiled.

California Energy Company - COSO
Geothermal Area, Subsidence Survey,
China Lake, California |
Design
of subsidence monitoring network
to measure subsidence using GPS
surveying techniques. The project
involved establishing the methods
and procedures based upon the FGCC
Guidelines to accurately measure
the ellipsoid heights and thus determine
the subsidence of seventy (70) monitoring
stations over 20 square miles of
project area. The primary control
reference network was established
using multiple static GPS observations
incorporating Continuous Operating
Reference Station data. During the
course of each biannual measurements
the seventy monitoring stations
are observed multiple sessions,
on different days during different
time frames to increase reliability
of results.

| City
of Sparks Geodetic Control Network |
This
project was completed to establish
geodetic survey control within the
incorporated limits of the City
of Sparks, Nevada. Six dual frequency
GPS receivers were used to horizontally
and vertically locate 110 survey
monuments referenced to the North
American Datum of 1983. All results
were published and recorded along
with a Record of Survey plat. This
control network is now the basis
of control for all mapping and surveying
in the City and was the reference
framework for the City's Geographic
Information System.
