City of Reno Sewer Rating and Condition Inventory

The project consisted of Fast Static GPS verification of City of Reno Benchmarks, GPS/RTK location surveys to establish positions and elevations for 1,050 sanitary sewer manholes in the City of Reno for hydraulic modeling. Each manhole was detailed and invert elevations measured and compiled.

California Energy Company - COSO Geothermal Area, Subsidence Survey, China Lake, California

Design of subsidence monitoring network to measure subsidence using GPS surveying techniques. The project involved establishing the methods and procedures based upon the FGCC Guidelines to accurately measure the ellipsoid heights and thus determine the subsidence of seventy (70) monitoring stations over 20 square miles of project area. The primary control reference network was established using multiple static GPS observations incorporating Continuous Operating Reference Station data. During the course of each biannual measurements the seventy monitoring stations are observed multiple sessions, on different days during different time frames to increase reliability of results.

Washoe County, Nevada GPS Continuous Operating Reference Station Project

The project consisted of a GPS fast static geodetic survey to establish a sub-centimeter horizontal locations for five Continuous Operating Reference Stations within the Truckee Meadows area for Washoe County, the City of Reno and the City of Sparks.

City of Sparks, Nevada Utility Location Project

The project consisted of RTK/GPS location surveys to establish positions of 9,000 sanitary sewer manholes, 4,000 storm drain manholes, 5,500 catch basins and inlets, 2,800 fire hydrants and water valves within the twenty-five square miles of the City of Sparks. Deliverables included subsurface manhole detail information and facility connectivity for the City of Sparks Geographic Information System.

City of Sparks, Nevada GPS Continuous Operating Reference Station Location Project

The project consisted of a GPS fast static geodetic survey to establish a sub-centimeter location for the City of Sparks CORS Base Station.

Miscellaneous Cellular Tower Site Surveys & FAA Certification

Conducted cellular tower site surveys and Federal Aviation Administration Certificates for sites throughout Nevada, California and Arizona.

City of Reno GIS Parcel Conversion

City wide fast static geodetic network survey, public land line and property line research for all entire City, real time kinematic surveys to locate property layer control consisting of 8 points per section, 550 points, served as consultant regarding City's digital orthophotography land base system.

Western Las Vegas Beltway From Hualapai Way to Far Hills Drive

Global Positioning surveys for aerial ground control, flight, film processing, diapositives production, analytical aerotriangulation, digital terrain model, semi-rectified digital photography, planimetric and topographic mapping and volume computations for earthwork quantities.

Orange County Geodetic Control Network

The project consisted of a GPS fast static geodetic survey to establish control to support digital orthophotography for a nine hundred square mile area for the Orange County Geographic Information System.

Sierra Pacific Power Company - Outlying Parcel Conversion

This project consisted of fast static GPS geodetic control surrounding the Corporate limits of Reno and Sparks and the collection of 536 Public Land Corners within 75 sections for control for the Sierra Pacific Power Company Geographic Information System Parcel Conversion Project.

City of Sparks Geodetic Control Network

This project was completed to establish geodetic survey control within the incorporated limits of the City of Sparks, Nevada. Six dual frequency GPS receivers were used to horizontally and vertically locate 110 survey monuments referenced to the North American Datum of 1983. All results were published and recorded along with a Record of Survey plat. This control network is now the basis of control for all mapping and surveying in the City and was the reference framework for the City's Geographic Information System.

City of Sparks - Storm Drain Facility Inventory

GPS data acquisition using GPS/RTK methods for location of storm drain facilities including horizontal locations within + 1 foot, vertical elevations of rims, headwall structures and flowline inverts within + 0.1 feet, inventory data recording of pipe sizes, direction of flow and structure condition over six mile project from El Rancho Boulevard to Sparks Boulevard along McCarran Boulevard and Baring Boulevard.
